Kit colors? Not sure on colors here.

    5 day old part flemish and part mini rex/lionhead cross.Theres two of each color and 2 black.im guesses there black..does black sometimes have blue in the ears at birth

    Ok..Thanks.some colors are so close in color and im new to worryimg about coloring..is the opal a agouti

    Opal, chinchilla and chestnut are all agouti pattern colors. The agouti pattern puts white on the insides of the ears, around the eyes, around the nostrils, under the jaw, on the belly, and on the underside of the tail. There will be a triangular patch of lighter colored hair behind the ears. The body hairs of an agouti patterned animal have distinct bands of color.

    In this country, "agouti" is a pattern, but there is no recognized breed of rabbit that has "agouti" as a color. The closest you can come to that is a few breeds (like the lops) that have a color called chestnut agouti, which is basically the wild-type color. In a lot of other breeds, this color is simply called "chestnut."

    [​IMG] I wanted show these rabbits brother..ive fed him frim day two cause he was so small and apoeared to not have eaten and was wrinkly.He has grown some but is half the size if his siblings.He eats a lot when i feed him.Hes not wrinkled anymore..Can anyone tell if he a runt or what?

    Time will tell. He may grow out of it and catch up, but then again, he may not.
