Knitting Sweaters for CHICKENS?!?!?!

    Look what I found in my new knitting magazine this week...

    There is an organization in the UK that makes sweaters for chickens rescued from commercial factories where they were neglected/abused and were missing most of their feathers. They make these little sweaters to keep them warm until their feathers come back in. [​IMG]

    Great idea!

    When my mother was a little girl during the depression, her family made a mole-skin coat for one of their chickens lacking feathers.

    My mother showed me a German magazine where a women made sweaters for her chickens. She won photo of the week
