    Hello,
I think this may be my first post. A little background for me: I have a small farm consisting of around 300 layers. For the past few years I've been gathering quality breeding stock of several breeds from around the country in hopes of being able to get my foot in the door in most of the tangents of the poultry market. I have a La Bresse rooster that has feathers beginning to grow on it's shanks. He fit's the breed description rather well (bright white feathers, dark slate legs, bright red comb, good size and frame) but the feathered legs.... Has anyone else experienced this with this breed? Is it possible it could be a mutation?

Any help would be appreciated. thank you
