Lakeshore egger pullet or cockerel?

Hi everyone! I got Lakeshore eggers pullets from Meyer hatchery. They are 8 weeks old. Not sure if this one is a pullet or a cockerel... supposed to be a her. What do you think?

I would say pullet because of the saddle feathers, seem too rounded for a cockerel.

He’s a cockerel. Too much comb for a pullet.

8 weeks is too young for sex indicative feathering, pointed saddle and hackle feathers won’t grow in for another 4-5 weeks.

that's what my husband is thinking. That he is a boy

Agreed, cockerel; based upon the size and color of the comb at such an early age. He'll start growing in his male saddle feathers in about a month.

Cockerel, but unfortunately he passed away a few weeks later with no reason...

Oh, no! Sorry about that. I just bought one today and she’s light yellow, which I read could mean it’s a boy. So, of course, I’m reading more now!!

Oh she is sweet❤! She could be a girl I had two chicks that were light yellow, but one turned out a hen. Very good layer of greenish eggs! I ordered 6 Lakeshore Eggers from Meyer's hatchery. Only 1 survived....
