Meanwhile Scyene continued pawing at the deep layers of mold in the velvet room next to where Cairo believed Valasca was being held. Scyene was holding back dry heaves from the horrid smell of mold. She continued pawing until the once red velvet layer was shown and there was no longer much mold.

"Good, now tear through it." Cairo ordered.

"Oh God, the mold is going to get in my mouth?!" Scyene whined.

"Yes, but you are saving Valasca whether you like it or not." Cairo ordered. Scyene sighed as she ripped a hole in the velvet. She nearly vomited as the awful tasting mold touched her tongue. She then began pawing at the velvet in order to tear it, trying to tolerate the awful smell of mold.

"Uh, no thank you, I don't listen to your orders." The female husky sneered. "We're going to go get Valasca instead. Come on Derek." The female husky then grabbed the other husky by his front legs, then ran off, like a bullet and was out of sight in seconds.

Kate muttered something under her breath and followed Garret and Lark.

"Once Valasca is rescued we are spending a few days in a cave somewhere to rest. Then, we are going to the final battle, finish off Vlad and Lark, and end this war once and for all."

Garret pulled Lark across the ice to a small, remote island that was a few miles away from the main one. On the back side of this island was a small cave, hidden by large pine trees and protected by steep, rocky cliffs. Inside the cave it was dark, and cold, the only light coming through the small doorway. Three sets of shackles were attached the the walls, and various other tools were stored in a small room at the very back. On the roof, were three large pulley systems, each hooked up to a set of shackles. Once they were inside, Kate attached a set of shackles to Lark's wrists and ankles, binding him to the wall.

"This war will finally be finished"

"You'll all pay for this!"

"You'll all pay for this!"

"Keep tellin yourself that, Lark" She replied, pulling on chain so that his arms were raised high above his head and his legs were held down. "Now, where is Vlad?" She asked, turning to face him once she had secured the chains.
