Large Broods

Is anyone besides me brooding more than 5-10 chicks? I have 100 in my brooder right now.

I've got 27 in mine. Nowhere near 100 but definitely a good bunch of peeping chicks!

How do I go about taming that many at a time? I've seen posts about people hand feeding, but that's a little difficult with 100.

I wouldn't know how to go about taming 100, but maybe you could tame them in groups? Let a bunch of them eat some treats out of your cupped hands at the same time, and TALK to them. I think the more time you spend with them the more results you'll eventually see. Let them learn to recognize your voice and scent. If everyone is familiar with you from the start I don't see why they wouldn't be friendly as they get older. If your wanting them to be pets like sit in your lap pets, you might have to single some out for extra attention. I've tamed larger birds that got rehomed to here just by having lots of patience and plenty of treats and talking to them constantly when I'm around them. I'm not an expert in any sense of the word when it comes to the little uns though, but that's what I plan on doing with my new babies. Good luck!
