Lafayette is a 33 week old cuckoo marans cockeral from my spring 2007 chicks from McMurray Hatchery.

I have put it off as long as possible but can no longer house 2 roos in my flock. Lafayette drew the short straw between himself and Buster, my barred rock cockeral.

He is free to a good home.

    He is a large cockeral.

If not picked up by 10 am friday, Feb 8, 2008, he will be culled. Which is what I am trying to avoid with this offer.

If you take him, please be prepared to have a quarrentine area set up for them for a minimum of 30 days to 6 weeks. While I believe them to be clean and disease free every flock has its own special microcosm of germs. Biosecurity measures should always be in place to insure the health of your current flock.

    Thanks for looking.
