Large Eggs.

    This morning, our Buffy (Amore, in my avatar) laid an unusually large egg. I think its a egg with twin yolks. Heres a picture of it compared to her average size eggs

    The smaller egg is our Austrolorps egg, but the buffy's eggs are about the same size.
    Is it a twin egg? I have never seen on before.

    [​IMG] It may very well be a double yolk egg. You will know when it hits the frying pan.

    When our girls first started laying we got a lot of double yolk eggs. Haven't gotten one in a while and sure miss them. I always thought they were fun. When giving eggs to family and friends I liked including a double yolker in the carton.

    This is our first double yolk -- our buffy only started laying about a month ago
