I had an empty planting bucket in my coop - not for food or water storage just for projects. My favorite hen Fancy Nancy hopped up on the rim I guess and it flipped on top of her. I founder her under after I realized she was missing. [IMG]

You're not the only one. [IMG] There have been numerous posts about others encountering the same problem. Thanks for posting. Someone may read this and realize the dangers an empty container can pose.

I had almost the exact same thing happen to one of my hens a year ago, it's heartbreaking. You post may encourage people to take a minute to look closely around their coop, barn, where ever their chickens roam and remove potential traps. Chickens can get themselves in trouble so easily sometimes.
