Purchased 4 "pullets" from a farm. Two golden laced, two blue. One of the golden laced was a rooster and re-homed. Do I have another rooster? Both pictured are same age.

A little hard to see but bird in question is in the background, where as the Cochin I'm confident is a pullet is closer to the camera. Again both hatched at same time.

It's got saddle feathers and start of tail. Do Cochin cock birds even have sickle feathers? It's a cockerel.

Yep, Cochin roos get all the typical male traits. They're very slow to mature, so they grow them slower. The bird in questions massive size and red comb and wattles make me think cockerel as well.

Shame I can't keep roosters. I'm still waiting to hear back from the farm I purchased it from. I didn't mind when it was 1 out of the 4, but now with only 2 out of the four being girls I hope they'll work with me and trade for at least one more girl. We'll see.
