I have an older chicken with a large growth under her beak. Any ideas? She is otherwise acting normal. Eats, drinks, runs around. Doesn't seem to bother her if I mess with it.

What does the inside of her mouth look like? To me that looks like an abscess or possibly a tumor.
X2. It might be worth trying to clean it well with betadine or a disinfectant and lance it to see if there is solid cheese-like pus inside or if there is just tissue and blood. Recently there have been a couple of lesions that turned out to be abscesses or inclusion cysts (think big blackhead.)

Can you get a clearer photo?

Sort of reminds me of this other thread, unfortunately the OP never did come back.https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/need-help-lump-in-chicken-waddle.1292526/

Vet care would be best.
If that's not possible, I would dry cleaning it out and see what's in there.
The beak also needs a trim, you will likely need to work on that in stages until you get it back in shape. Here's an article about trimming. https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/beak-and-claw-trimming.74570/

Around the time you noticed this swelling under her beak, were the temperatures in the freezing range? That looks like wattle that is swollen from frostbite which can happen if a chicken dips their wattles in water as they take a drink during below freezing weather.
