We have a nice big rooster that we would like to give away to a good home.
He came with a mix of chicks last spring. The reasons we are getting rid of him are (1) we have no intentions of breeding our hens (but he sure does) and (2) he can be a little aggressive toward some people at times. He has never bothered me but he has my wife and my daughter a couple of times.
Please keep #2 in mind. If you like to mingle with your chickens and have young children, I wouldn't recommend him but if you are looking for a large, healthy Roo...this bird's for you!
