Hello,
I live on a family friend's farm as a farm hand and have noticed something seriously wrong with one of our roosters recently. Some of the toes on his feet have bent at bizarre angles and seemingly grown in length. One in particular curls up and back towards his body, nearly touching his leg. They are thicker than they should be, probably about the thickness of a large finger or hot dog. He can barely walk, and mostly sits down or hobbles uncomfortably, so I've isolated him with food and water to allow him to actually eat without interference from the other chickens. I've tried researching the issue before and none of the usually suspects seems to be the case. I've talked to the farm owner and she is convinced he is dying, however she said I can do whatever I'd like to try and help him. Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be, and if so what solutions there may be? Thank you for any advice

I took a picture of the underside of his foot just in case someone more experienced with Bumblefoot could give a sure diagnosis for it. The dark spot doesn't seem to be debris, it's hard and attached to him. I also included a photo of his brother's feet for reference on how they used to look about a year ago. Any advice is appreciated, thank you.
