I lost an Ameraucana last night. Now my Delaware is acting lathargic and having trouble breathing. She doesn't want to stand. My Ameracauna had an eye injury. Not sure if that is what caused her to pass or not. I'm worried I'm going to lose her too.

    Question time:

    1. How old is she?
    2. How is she laying? Or last lay?
    4. How is she eating/drinking/pooping?
    5. Do you notice her sneezing, wheezing or any nasal discharge?
    6. How does her crop feel?
    7. Can you please post a picture of her?

Is it hot where you are? Major heat will cause your chickens to be stressed.

Place some ice in your chickens water. Blow a fan on them. Wet down an area for them to lay on. Place a shallow tray of water for then to stand in. It is probably heat stress.
