Darn, I’m from Boise originally but live in CA now. I’d consider taking them if I lived nearby. I think they’re beautiful and would make great partners to my little ladies that are the same age! Just for comparison I attached pics of my Fluff and Puff. They are the sweetest and most friendly birds I have 😍

Such beautiful girls, I was hoping mine were girls but a lot say they look like cockrels and we raised them from egg up and still not crowing at 17 weeks so idk it’s a bummer but the tail is what people are saying it is, but one of yours has a tail that pokes out a bit but idk

Yeah, I think on yours, what I see as the more tell tale sign is the narrow feathers cascading around the back tail feathers. Those look to be the saddle feathers that only the boys get - it is a LOT harder to see them on lavender chickens! I have a Lavender Orpington that I was convinced was a girl...and then he got those same feathers like yours has on his back and then his comb and wattles caught up and it was pretty obvious :( They may take a few more weeks before they crow, I had one boy that never crowed in the whole 6 months I had him, but he was very low in the pecking order and I am guessing he didn't feel comfortable trying to assert any announcements of his presence out of deference to the other two boys I had. I found him a new home, and she sent me video of him crowing away with his new flock of ladies all to himself haha.

If sh

if shipping wasent so expensive hahaha
I know, right?? Your babies are very pretty and will likely find a home if you have to rehome them eventually. Lavender is such a popular coloring and they make great breeders for Olive Eggers, Easter Eggers, etc. Carrying the blue egg gene is a nice genetic benefit! :) Good luck with your babies and enjoy them while you have them! :) It's such a bummer when you invest in them from eggs and raise them and neither is a hen! That was how I felt about my four baby chicks I ever bought. Two lavenders and two blue laced red wyandottes...and both lavender Orps were boys and the blue laced red was a boy...the only one that turned out to be a hen, was the Gold Laced Wyandotte I got that was supposed to be Blue Laced! I was really sad :( I did keep the favorite boy, my lav Orp because my neighborhood allows roosters if the lot is big enough, but I don't have near enough space to keep 3 big roosters!
