I was wondering if anyone can tell the sex of my Lavender Orpington? I am new to raising chicks, she is suppose to be a female, but seems a little masculine, maybe just super confident and friendly? She is 5weeks and 2 days in the photos I will post.

I tried to stick with mostly rare breeds in case I ended up with roosters because I thought maybe they could end up with a happy home, since I can't keep roosters in my area:(

It may be too early, but I'm going to guess cockerel. Here's my 2 at 8ish weeks (if the breeder told me correctly), they're about 10 now and for sure pullets:

Well, hopefully it is still too early, but maybe I will start searching for someone that might want a rooster if it turns out that way in a month or so:(
