In the Brooder
Hello! We started a little flock of six birds. Three are cream legbar, one is serama bantam, and two are lavender orpington. They have brought so much joy and fascination so far! Thinking we can move outside soon once they have some more adult feathers for the youngest ones. They are about 5 weeks and 4 weeks old. Lucy (on my shoulder) is my favorite. She hops up and hangs out. I assume it is a she, anyway. We suspect the other Lavender is a male by the slightly larger and tinted comb. (Which means Elsa will become Elvis) haha. The legbars we know are female. And I think the serama is female. So glad to be an emerging chicken lady.
