I know it’s still too soon, and their broken feathers make it even tougher...but I figured I’d post anyway :)

A - is our very slow to feather chick. Nelly is 6 weeks old and still a LOT of fluff

B - is our very fast feathering chick. Evee is 6 weeks old and almost fully feathered

Go by comb and wattle development...feathering is often variable with each chick.

A) has a troublesome looking comb, but still pale and barely any wattles. Only 6 weeks...may be a precocious girl or male...keep watch.

B) is a male. THAT much comb and wattles at 6 weeks is a cockerel.
