Lavender Pekin Bantam - advice, photos and questions

Soon i will be collecting some lavender pekins i am so excited!
could anyone give me any info on them, share any pics you may have of pekins and also answer a small argument me and my father are haveing - i know its a true bantam but is this breed a rare breed?

Pekin Bantams are common in some areas of the world, but rare in others. We call them Cochin Bantams in America and they are considered fairly common here, but rare in the hotter regions. This is my girl, but she's a black one.
