I believe this guy is about four months old breeder sold to me as a cockerel but I’m starting to worry because it recently went through it’s second juvie molt and the crest is looking much more pullet like to me. Before the molt occurred I didn’t really have any reason to question that it was a cockerel. I really wanted this one to be a male! I have buff hens and wanted to work on a line of blue cream😕 But what do you guys think? Pullet or cockerel? It has a slight comb but I have hens with bigger combs than this guy so I don’t put a lot of stock in that. On the behavior side it is not at all aggressive but it is rather skittish. Thanks for opinions! I’m gonna send in a DNA sample as I’ve had silkies I KNEW (ok 99% sure🤣) were pullets until they started impregnating my hens, but I figured it would be fun to see what everyone thinks in the meantime!
