    Hello,

I have 1,3 of them. 20 hatchingeggs are in the incubator, in 20 days I will have some little ones, I´ll give you pictures.

    Do you have lavender ones?

Quote:Yes! We do have Lavender Silkies in the US. They are not accepted as a standard color yet, although we are close. They have been developed over the last 10-15 years.

This is one that I sold last year...

THESE ARE THE PRETTIEST SILKIES I'VE EVER SEEN! I have a modest collection of 7 silkies which I love dearly (2 white, 2 splash, 2 blue, 1 buff) most SQ. I just LOVE these lavenders! I'm in Florida, do you ever ship eggs since the chances of me getting to Texas in this lifetime are remote ?

Quote:No, and not many lavender breeders will sell eggs. Its still a develomental color that is not yet accepted as a standard variety. Although they are becoming more popular, they are still a bit pricey.

So how did you get started with lavender stock? How long have you worked on perfecting it? Do you breed Lav. to Lav. ?
