Hi all,
In New Zealand we can't import chooks for biosecurity reasons. If we want something we don't have, we have to make it! I already have a quite successful Paint Silkie project going (yay!) but would like to start working on Lavender Silkies... Where to start?
Black Silkie roo over Lavender Araucana hens? Lavender Araucana roo over Black Silkie hens? Cross back to what?
Any advice would be great as friend is keep to start with me (she's in another part of the country, but we can cross stock at a later date!)
