Lawn chemicals

We have had lawn applications in the past but since we are going to start raising chickens we weren't going to anymore. My wife mistakenly gave permission for a company to apply chemicals to our lawn. I have 4 week old pullets that need to be put outside soon. I don't know what to do. How long after an application can chickens safely be put in the grass? Do I need to start thinking about finding a new home for them?
