I have done a little research on the laws and ordinances for my county and all I can say is wow. I didn't realize there were so many laws. This is why I am NOT getting any chickens this year. Besides that I rent my house from a farmer and I don't know if he would even allow me to keep chickens. I live on a little over an acre of land that is also owned by my landlord. I want to be smart about the laws and ordinances before I commit myself to anything.
