Layer mash and cracked corn mix ?

Has anyone mixed layer mash and cracked corn? Is this ok

Cracked corn is generally given as a treat. I would stick with the layer mash by itself with oyster shells offered free choice.

Why cut your layer mash?

By adding cracked corn to the mash your depleting proteins and amino acids like methionine and lysine which are needed for health poultry.
