Layers and coccidiosis, which medicine is best?

Is there harm in treating for cocci?? They do not have blood in their droppings, but at this point I am desperate. It is runny in the chickens that have died. My buffs are fine, but my older birds I am losing at a rate of one per month or so.

Have they been wormed? Usually, by adulthood, chickens are immune to the oocysts in their soil that cause cocci.
