Laying after stress

How long after having too many roosters and amending that problem will my hens start to lay? They were on track to start laying last month, however I believe they were way too stressed to begin laying. We started out with 22 chickens (we had about 50/50 hens to roosters raised from chicks) now we have 6 hens with one rooster after giving some away and butchering others for the freezer. Any suggestions?

Really, whenever they feel like it. I've heard of it taking anywhere from a day, to several months.
