I read in a book that hens view their eggs as gifts to a higher form (i.e, human, rooster, dominant hen...). I know she's proud of her eggs, but this is overkill

What a wonderful, soft "nest"!! Very smart chickies to find such perfect places to lay. Nice coop too, Banks! The fan is perfect for our typical weather! Can't believe it is supposed to be 22 in the morning. (I'm about 5 miles north of you.)
