Hi,
I have a Black Australorp that has recently been going to the roost in daytime and laying from there. Most of the times the eggs end up breaking and/or getting eaten by the other hens. She was laying in the nest box until just a few weeks ago. I have chased her out when I catch her, but she goes right back up there. Moving her down to the nest box didn't fix the issue. Any other suggestions?
I see this issue has been raised before, but none of the previous suggestions worked for my hen.
