I got 6 red sex links this past spring and they started laying in August. I got 5-6 eggs a day for 2 solid months but in the last couple weeks I have gone down to 3 eggs a day. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

Normal. When the daylight hours decrease and/or they are in molt (losing and replacing feathers) egg production slows or ceases. When daylight hours begin increasing again egg production will to return to normal.

First year layers usually don't molt in the first fall...
....and sometimes they slow down but continue to lay all winter, but sometimes not.

Do you free range? They might be laying out in range area.
