What's new on Leap of Faith Farms?! Alot! We just introduced a new litter of gorgeous bloodhound puppies! 10 happy healthy puppies! Animals currently on our little mini 5 acre farm are~

~ 1 Emu (Male named Blu)
~1 peahen (BS blue indian)
~4 turkeys (Red bourbon, blue slate cross and a mystery breed girl)
~3 Guinea keets
~3 pekin ducks and 2 Indian runners
~lots of chickens and chicks (more on the way)
~lots of bloodhounds
~ meat rabbits (1 Male NZ X Flemish and 1 NZ female)

The rabbits are new. Just got them yesterday as a trade for some chicks. I plan to breed them to raise some meat rabbits! I have been on a mission to be more self sufficient so I am doing lots of different things! I am going to start bee keeping soon! Lots of fun new stuff happening here right now. Stay tuned y'all! I know I don't post here much but I am hoping I can start updating this more! I am only 18 myself and still have a ton to learn so join me on my self sufficiency ride! I hope somebody sees this thread and decides to try doing some of this stuff themselves. It's good to learn about growing your own food and stuff and not having to rely on a grocery store. One day our world could really fall apart (more than it already has) and we may need to put our survival skills to the test.

Here's our new meat rabbits. The white one is a new Zealand female and the mostly brown Male is a Flemish giant X New Zealand cross.

I'm about to put more eggs In the incubator y'all! This time we will have silkie, EE and a couple sex link eggs. The silkie eggs (if fertile) are fertilized by a black EE rooster so the chicks will be a suprise! Please go and watch my hatch-a-long to see updates!
