I am making a homemade bator and am shopping ebay for parts. pc fans are like a buck. Some of them have led lights in them which I thought would be nice to help light the incubator. Would this affect hatchibility or would make the chicks dizzy or something? I can't tell if the light is stationary or if it moves with the fan...makes me dizzy just thinking of it.

I used to have a custom made computer with an LED fan. I never got sick or dizzy. LEDS barely get warm so you should be fine.

If the LED is stationary, I can't see it being a problem.

If it moves... I wouldn't try it.

No problem...and they make a great night light. I've got a blue on in mine.

Ditto to gator. I have a PC fan with the blue LED lights and it didn't seem to cause any issues at all with the hatching rates.
