My 8-9 month old Dominique pullet has badly sprained (hopefully not broken!) a leg.
I can’t provide too much information at the current moment because she is up in bed and not accessible rn, and I only was able to observe her from outside their tractor.
We are at the beach, and they are in a tractor.

I did not see it as twisted, swollen, or discolored.
This is the first time she has has a leg issue.
Or any health issue, for that matter.
I just want to help my beautiful girl.

^ her @ better times...

Unfortunately there isnt really anything specific to suggest until you are able to actually examine her. Obviously keep an eye on whether the other birds are bullying her while shes injured and try to get her to take it easy so it can heal.

I'd rather keep her with the flock if possible. She loves them, and is second in command.
I can take her to a vet if needbe, but not til Saturday at the earliest.
I will definitely update with more info tomorrow morning.
If they arent picking on her, that's fine. Just keep an eye. If you do have to cage her to restrict movement, you can put the cage in the coop or run with the others. Separate but not kicked out of the flock.

She has mostly healed - on the coldest mornings she limps a bit. Thanks for all the help!
