Leg mites???

I think my roo has leg mites .. They are red & a little swollen .. I put vasolline on them but what else can I do? He acts like it hurts, he is a Cochin so he has feathers also . I have 13 others that are fine he is the only one???

I was just reading about this and someone suggested some 7 Dust. I'm going to add it to their 'dirt bathing area', as well as sprinkle it around the coop. Good luck with yours!
