So for 4H I hatched out some Leghorns (we had only 5 hatch out of 12).
Of course, they are all fluffy yellow and adorable. Some of them have a reddish spot on the back of their heads. Does this mean anything?

I also had one chick hatch out of an egg from an easter egger roo and RIR hen. IT is YELLOW! And has a muff and beard. Terribly sweet and cute. I assumed it would be chipmunk marked! But then I know nothing of genetics.
