Leghorn/Isbar

Anyone have experience with Leghorns covered by an Isbar Rooster? My brother, a leghorn fanatic, had chicks half leghorn and half Isbar and they are now laying a really nice blueish green egg with the frequency of a Leghorn. Would a Lavender Ameraucana/Leghorn produce blue layers in similar fashion?

They were! The yellow one's looked like spotted little cows.

They should. I plan do do this with my Lav Amer. Roo and WL hen. I cant wait to have some "super blue" layers!

I have had many isbars and isbar mixes. Both Isbars and leghorns would lay during the winter large eggs.

Sorry I'm late to the game!
These chickens lay a light green egg almost everyday. They look similair to the Murray McMurray White Sapphire chicken
