Leghorn Rooster? (Pictures)

I have two 8 week old leghorns. I think on is a rooster... I mean look at that comb. What do you think?

We got the eggs from our family friend who doesn't have Cali whites, only leghorns. Their father is either a Dominque or Araucana. Could that be why he looks like a California White?

I would also vote cockerel on the first pic. I've got a leghorn pullet around the same age and she does have some awesome comb growth, but it's not nearly as big or bright red as your guy! Hers is more of a yellow tone. He is definitely a cutie Good luck!

The first picture is a cockerel, the second picture is a pullet.

So they are not leghorns, but rather mixed breeds.

Neither had an Araucana or Dominique for a parent. Single combs are recessive to all other comb types. If an Araucana was the father, they would have pea combs. If Dominique for a father, they would have rose combs.
