leghorn sexing

I got some Embryology chicks from the grandson and have been researching sexing these critters. He has already been warned that no roosters will survive

Did I read this correctly? Leghorn hens feather out in wings and tails sooner than the roos? Mine are 2 weeks old now and there are definite differences in the feathering. Anyone have leghorn experience?

I just know that with my white leghorns, the roos got red combs and wattles real quick.

My little roos are 11 weeks old now and I'm ready to send 3 of them to freezer camp soon... I hope I can hold out another 5 weeks.

Are the roos going to be a size to be worth the trouble of processing?

I think a lot of breeds feather out faster in pullets.. May not be the norm.. I see pullets get tails first..
