Well I've got 2 leghorns and we've gotten 1 egg Sunday and 1 egg today! Today's egg was tougher shelled than Sundays. Hoping the other hens get the idea soon...we're still waiting for the White Rock, the australorp, the 2 EE's, the Production Red and the Barred Rock to join in the fun.

Here's pic of our two eggs...

We're looking forward to more in the near future!!! [IMG]

Congrats on the big event. [IMG]

    How old are your Leghorns?

We have 2 that are about 12 weeks old, so we know it'll be a while.

    [IMG] Thankx guys!!!

Our chickens are 18wks this Thursday... we have a half doz who are still 9 wks or so...but the big girls are older...

We raised them from chicks so it feels like forever since we got this far but we've enjoyed the journey...

I know that the other breeds we have generally lay later but it's exciting to see eggs ....

    Good Luck!!! [IMG]
