(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I have had chickens for 4 years.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 10
(3) What breeds do you have? Rhode Island White, Americauna, Buff Orphington, Black ausralorpe, Wyndotte
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? They have the most hilarious personalities!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Reading, gardening, hanging with the family
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have 4 kids, 2 grand kids, and have been married for 32 years. I have 5 dogs and 2 cats. We occasionally have pigs and beef cows here. I am a first grade teacher.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I have been a member of BYC since I bought my first pullets 4 years ago. I have only posted a couple of times, but am a long-time stalker.
