I am new to chickens and chicks this year. Last weekend I had a month old sleep the better part of the day in my hand. I was worried she was ill but the next few days she has been as active as the rest and seems to just like being held to sleep. Today an older chick, a silkie cross has been lethargic, eats very little, drinks every time she wakes up and then vomits the water back up. She is sleeping most of this day. My son noticed her wings were dropped and thought he saw a reference to drooping wings here. I am not seeing any other symptoms. Her hind end is clean, she does not seem labored in breathing. Her feet are cold where all other chickens feet are quite warm. I do not know where to start except with electrolytes which I read here. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
