One of my hens is very lethargic, she doesn't seem to want to eat anything and is drinking a bit. She also has green and white diarrhoea that sticks around her bum feathers. Her tail is quite floppy, not perky like it usually is. She also wanted to be on her own instead of hanging out with the other chickens. When we put her down so she can stand up she goes a bit floppy initially but then can stand.

She starting to seem a bit different yesterday morning.

We thought possibly she was egg bound but we couldn't feel an egg when we felt in her vent. We have given her a warm bath, massaged her abdomen and she is now inside in a box with hay and a blanket next to a heater in the dark. There is water (with a little bit of apple-cider vinegar in it as this removes bugs) and food available if she wants it.

What else can we do? [IMG] And does anyone know what is wrong with her?

Thank you all very much [IMG]

It was a public holiday yesterday so the vet was closed but hopefully we can today, although she is looking a bit better
