Ok, here goes…
I have a 4yr old black orpington that I noticed a week ago was preening herself more than usual so I checked her over and saw she had mites/lice below her vent. I day mites/lice because they aren’t translucent like lice and there aren’t any mites in the coop. I mean not even 1!!!
I cleaned the coop out anyway just as a precaution and treated all my chickens with ivomectin again after a suggestion from where I buy all my chicken supplies from.
They said to keep treating them weekly until all the mites/lice are gone. They have been treated twice niw 1 week apart and I’m due to treat them again today.
last night I noticed daisy out on her own and her comb was looking pale. It hasn’t been super red anyway as all my girls are going through their yearly moult.
I have just got in from work and she was out on her own again so I checked her over and she has a lot of crawly things again. It was getting better and I could only see the odd one 2 days ago.

I haven’t seen her poop but there doesn’t appear to be any diarrhoea in the run.

I will attach a video I just took of the “creep crawler’s”
any ideas would be much appreciated, thanks!

I took some video but they won’t upload. Hers some photos…

I clean the coop with a product called poultry safeguard. So I clean everything out (I can totally dismantle the coop which is great!) and spray that on every surface and after 10-15 mins hose it away as per the instructions and then once it’s all dry I spray enviro shield which is a permethrin concentrate on everything and then put it all back together and put fresh bedding in. Then I shake de-mite powder over everything including in their dust bath. I do this weekly.

I have been dosing her with ivomectin pour on weekly for 2 weeks now.

I was putting the de-mite powder on her feather shafts but was advised that it is a bit harsh so dis-continued it.

Are you seeing these creepy crawlers on any of the other hens? I'm sort of thinking that maybe something else could be going on that makes her a target for them. It sure doesn't seem like there should be any left after all you've done.

es, I totally agree with you on that because the rest of my girls are fine.
It I’m fresh out of ideas on what to do next. I’ve got a tonic to out in their water especially for mites, so it’s got vitamins etc to help with anemia etc I’m also feeding her red meat to try and help too.
