Alright I have 3 EEs as seen below

I'd like for you to let me know if the yellow one is in fact a roo!

Say hello to Hemingway (that's what I've been calling "him")

He and his sisters are 14 weeks old. He's the only light colored one and also the only one with a comb as you can see here.

the last two aren't great pictures for showing this, but neither of the dark chicks have much of a comb to speak of. Both of their combs are more like small, dark ridges. Like I said all 3 are 14 weeks of age, and I have yet to hear him crow. He's also a very well behaved, mild mannered chicken who is usually the first one out of the coop when I call and the first one to try a new treat. I'd love for him to be a roo, but as I've never had one I wasn't sure if he was or not, so I thought I'd bring it here to let you all judge.

(if you need to see larger photos, they're in my photostream here.)

the chick with the red feathers might be male the other 2 are female I think. it is hard to tell your photos are small. I down loaded the one and tried to enlarge it to see if he had pointed feather in front of the tail and I thought I saw some but not sure.

Gosh, it's nice to find a post in which the OP is GLAD to discover a chick is a rooster! Yes, Hemmingway is a bpy.

He's a boy, but for future reference, this should be under 'What Breed or Gender is This?'. [IMG]
