This is our chick "Tyrra", well now I am not so sure that she isn't a "Tyrone". Any thoughts?

That's funny - my name is Tyra - how did you come up with HER name?

A full body shot of the feathers is always helpful.

Yes, full body shots are most helpful, along with the age of the chicken(s) in question [IMG]

Age and a full body shot from the side, including legs, would help a bunch! [IMG]

Looks like a mille fleur d'uccle cockerel. Sorry. Bantam breeds can not be sexed either with their feathers or vent. You can tell early on their sex by their combs. They pop up pretty quickly. I have a week left to see if my d'uccle is a pullet.

Quote:I didn't name her a friend who can't have chickens at her house wanted her/him so I said ok I will keep her/ him. Anyway my friend named her Tyrra.

I will have to try to get a better photo later and post it. I am only guessing at age, we got her/him later than the others and he/she was almost completely feathered. We do believe the breed is Mille Fleur D'uccles
