Here is Diana after i pulled her off her nest. Funny how they stay all puffed up like that, even when you pick them up and move them around.
Here is a broody convention.
Then these three ladies were determined not to let each other out of their site, in case someone might have an egg.
i was worried about them getting cramps all jammed in together, so pulled them all out, but they just dog-piled into the nest box next door. There are no eggs in there, by the way. But they were determined nonetheless.
here's my "bucket o' chicken" broodies. looks like they are practicing to be future Colonel Sanders' candidates. One is a silkie, the other is an amaraucana/silkie cross.
Does this one qualify? She certainly put in her time.
