I might get some Cornish rock crosses this summer but I was reading that your not supposed to let meat birds out in a large grassy yard/field because they will use up energy running around instead of gaining weight. Is that true??? I was going to let my meat birds outside everyday so they can eat grass/bugs etc. in a tractor.

It might slow the incredible fast gain down a bit, but it will help them have a bit of a nicer life [IMG] I hope to boot my little ones out if it ever gets nice, and make them move around some!

trust me they are not going to burn much running around, they barely waddle once they hit the age that it matters.
