Okay, I'm a tad nervous.

For the last 10 days or so my 2 9-week-old EE chicks have been free-ranging with my 4 10-month-old GSL pullets. Tonight comes the night when the peeps will sleep in the thin roost near the big girls.

I'm gonna get up before dawn tomorrow to take them out so there's no pandemonium when I'm not there.

The 9 week olds are too young to intergrate with the 10 month olds. The 9 weekers need to be closer to the same size as the big girls. Also it helps if you have the new members in an intergration pen to where the others can see them.

I do. They live in a little A-frame coop and sometimes free-range with the GSL's.

When will the peepers be old enough? They are close to the big girls (who weigh 4-5 pounds), but I don't know much about integrating
