there will be 12 +. There are 2 pens with 3 lines. My old birds, (the lighter egg) are straight Channing grisham birds. There are 2 in this pen . I have hatched 50 or 60 of these. The hens pictured are from these birds , mated to a roo I got from eggs from Kansas. They were great color, layer great. The darker eggs are from the pullets pictured and from this cross. The speckled egg is from a calicowood hen. These birds are covered by the my original roo,so he is on his best daughters and the calico wood hen. The paler eggs, is really more terra cotat colored, but has that matte finish on it, is from the original Grisham hens, cover by the best son . These lines of hens have layed very well for me, layed at 5 months and layed through moult and through the winter. They did slow down, but would still get eggs . They are laying well right now. I get 7to 9 a day from the 9 pullets that have been laying 2.5 months and the color is great. The I will ship these out wednesday if paid for before 7 am central, when I leave for work . Pay pal is [email protected] Please leave me feed back . Most of the eggs will be from the 2nd pen. I got 11 eggs today from 11 layers and finished a private sale,so will be a 12 plus no problem.

Your eggs were waiting when I got home from work this evening---- THANK YOU!!!! they are wonderful!!!! the size, the color -- & thank you for the extras you sent, altho they were not necessary -- not one egg broken!

I actually got teary-eyed when I was unwrapping them. Thanks to you, I can now rebuild my wonderful Welsummer flock that I lost 2/3 of last fall -- I will keep TWO roos this time -- and they will be in "Chicken Fort Knox" - locked away safely every day.

I love my Welsummers best of all the breeds I have raised. They are such nice birds. And I already have some sold out of this hatch (if I can bear to part with any!) I was telling the post office counter guy about them this morning & he wants some.

    Just finished opening my eggs.

Nothing the PO could have done other than run over the box, would have broken one of these eggs.

I thought I shipped pretty good, but boy was I wrong. They are perfect and beautiful and huge!

    Thank you so so much!

I hope I get a good hatch, because I want eggs that look like this.

My lockdown on the first shipment is FRIDAY! I put 3 under the broody hen. Just opened one that was a scrambled yolk from the post office and maybe one more is going to be like that so far, but it looks like the rest of the ones in the incubator are well along developing.

The calicowoods hens eggs were LARGE and very pretty. Hope that broody does her job well as one of them are under her! Good luck on your auction.

Great seller. I hatched 18 of 22 all the way in California. Wrapped to withstand fukushima like disasters, this seller is worth the investment. 2 weeks on and all chicks are healthy and robust. Thanks again. Luke [IMG]
