I have an 11 week old light brahma that I need to know the gender of. I am planning on giving him/her to a friend so I would like to know the gender.

Here is a dark brahma the same age that I know for sure is a pulley just for comparison.

They both look like pullets to me. Cockerels are usually quite obvious by 11 weeks of age, and have a larger comb.

Probably a cockerel, but not sure. Brahmas are so slow to mature.

S/he loves to get in on the sparring when my other cockerels do. It's also always been bigger than the dark brahma. I'm pretty sure it crowed the other day but it could have been the other cockerels, it just sounded like his voice.
